Acts 3: Action Speaks

And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. (verse 7)

Action is the proof of the faith that is required for the spoken word to demonstrate power.

2 Peter 3: Destruction of the Ignorants

For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water. (verse 5)

The end, even those who chose to be ignorant of their salvation will also be swept away by their own lusts.

2 Peter 2: Ignorance, Lesser Evil

For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. (verse 21)

It is better to not have known the Truth than to turn away from it.

2 Peter 1: Never Fall

Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall. (verseĀ 9)

You have been called, now live to the full glory of His mercy and you will never fall.

1 Peter 5: Brotherhood of Afflictions

Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. (verse 9)

There is comfort in knowing that you are not the Devil’s only target.

1 Peter 4: By Grace

And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? (verse 18)

Only by the grace of God that we are able to appear before Him.

1 Peter 3: Refrain

For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile. (verse 10)

Does it really need to be said?

1 Peter 2: Silence Ignorance

For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men. (verse 15)

Ignorance can only be silence by action, not by rebuttal.

1 Peter 1: Frailty of Beauty

For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away. (verseĀ 24)

The frailty in the beauty that one spends much time cultivating lasts but for a moment.
