Acts 21: Clouded by Emotions

And when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, The will of the Lord be done. (verse 14)

Resist the temptation to give into emotions, follow the calling and go in the name of Christ.

Acts 20: Preaching With Compassion

And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a deep sleep: and as Paul was long preaching, he sunk down with sleep, and fell down from the third loft, and was taken up dead. (verse 9)

Listening to long sermons can be life changing, fortunately, Paul was a compassionate preacher, he embrace the kid and brought him back to life. 

Act 19: Known in the Spiritual Realm

And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? (verse 15)

Know Christ before attempting to go out in His name.

Acts 18: A More Perfect Way

This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John. (verse 25)

The strength of man may carry him in the fervency of the spirit but there exists more perfect way of God.

Acts 17: Inventing Gods

For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you. (verse 23)

An unknown god is easy to invent but salvation comes only from the one true God.

Acts 16: Words but not the Spirit

The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation. And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour. (verse 17-18)

There are those who speak the right spiritual words but they posses a different spirit.

Acts 15: Bare Minimum Burden

For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things; (verse 28)

The burden we bare is the absolute minimum necessary for our Spiritual growth.

Acts 14: Visible Faith

The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed. (verse 9)

The kind of faith that can be seen is the same faith that can lead to healing.

Acts 13: Enhanced Spiritual Perception

Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him. (verse 9)

Under the influence of the Holy Ghost, Paul was able to perceive evil, pronounce judgement and execute divine punishment.

Acts 12: Glorious Dream

And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands. (verse 7)

Peacefully sleeping in prison, Peter dreams in glorious light.
