Resist the temptation to give into emotions, follow the calling and go in the name of Christ.

Acts 20: Preaching With Compassion
And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a deep sleep: and as Paul was long preaching, he sunk down with sleep, and fell down from the third loft, and was taken up dead. (verse 9)
Listening to long sermons can be life changing, fortunately, Paul was a compassionate preacher, he embrace the kid and brought him back to life.

Acts 15: Bare Minimum Burden
For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things; (verse 28)
The burden we bare is the absolute minimum necessary for our Spiritual growth.

Enemies will at times ostracize the peacemaker but in the end, the truth will deliver them all.

Mark 7: Let it go
And when they saw some of his disciples eat bread with defiled, that is to say, with unwashen, hands, they found fault. (verse 2)
It is much harder looking for good in people, to find faults, look no further than in the mirror, if we don’t like the scrutiny, just let it go.

Mark 6: Dust to Testify
And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city. (verse 11)
The dust will rise in the day of judgement to testify against those who reject the gospel, for our part, we preach Christ.

The people were more afraid of seeing a person in his right mind than when he was possessed with a legion of devils.
